Rockin' the Red

My girlfriends and I had a great time the other night, participating in an event held by the Capitals, called Hockey n' Heels. Hockey n' Heels events are meant to get women more interested in the sport, not that some of us need that. The beginning part of the event involves watching a practice session with the team, locker room walk-throughs, and puck skills with members of the team. While I couldn't attend the practice sessions with the girls or knock a few pucks around, I did manage to get dolled up and hit Front Page in Ballston to enjoy happy hour.

We scoped out this computerized poker game and used it for our table. Damn if Backstrom didn't stand right between Sarah and me and ask to use our table to keep his water.....um, sure!
