New York State of Mind

I had the pleasure of driving to upstate New York during my four day weekend to visit with Nikkie. I had such a great time in Elmira-eating genuine NY pizza, playing in the snow, braving the frigid temperatures, and kicking ass at Trivia Night. Her family was so warm and welcoming and let us hang out to watch my Steelers trounce the Ravens on the big screen TV. Here are some pictures!

It snowed every day I was in New York.
What is this white stuff?
Nikkie donned her Cooley jersey while I wore my Polamalu jersey for the playoff game. I'll still be sporting my jersey on the 1st! GO STEELERS.
Nikkie and I enjoying a slice at Gino's. Gotta love NY pizza.
Bloomsburg was only twenty miles away from my route during my drives to and from. It was really tempting to go and visit my old stomping grounds. I refrained.
Two shots of the beautiful landscape of upstate New York.

Baby, it's Cold Outside

Christmas was spent in an utterly chaotic whirlwind. My first day of vacation began on the 19th. Sunday was spent at the BSO's Christmas spectacular with Lindsey, her mother and her sister, Monday was dinner with Kathy McGuire, Tuesday was dessert with the DiLustro's, Wednesday was Kyrie, and Thursday was Christmas. Alyson, Megan, and I spent Christmas together in Reisterstown with Megan's cooking and some present opening and then Friday Meg and I left for North Carolina. Alyson joined us on the 30th. So, our Christmas was spent together as a family before Meg boarded a plane back home on New Year's Eve. Aly and I spent the rest of the week with my parents hanging with our family and ringing in the New Year together.

75 and Sunny

This is where I spent my Winter vacation, where did you spend yours?

Home, sweet home
