Happy Holidays people!
Oh goodness, the holiday is almost over. It was a good one! I hope everyone else's was as nice. To recap....
Christmas Eve is traditionally a day where Aly, Meggy, and I spend it with Kathy McGuire, however Kathy was in Oklahoma attending to her father so for the first time in 15 or more years the girls had to fly solo for Christmas Eve. While it was sad to not celebrate the day with our "Aunt" Kathy we took her advice and did something together as the girls. After lunch we came home and got ready for mass. We always go to the 7:30 mass then to Patti Dilustro and Adrienne's house for drinks and cookies and to exchange presents. Ms. D and A are part of the extended family network so we have deemed it okay to open gifts before x-mas. Then...Megan got it into her head that we girls should sleep in her room (if you've seen Megan's room it isn't really that spacious...To be nice) so we were up til 2ish. Her royal pain in the ass (Megan) couldn't sleep so she woke us at 7 am. Yes 7. Present unwrapping was great....My parents have learned to stop stressing and gave us money...I also got a digital camera which you'll read why I haven't uploaded pictures yet so hold your horses....aly and Megan got me a great robe and a gift card to Nordstrom (already spent of course). The best is we sent Aly on a scavenger hunt for her gift (twisted sick pleasure was had by Megan and I). The rest of x-mas was spent sleeping and eating! Monday we went to Ashland to see Mammam and the rest has been sleeping and shopping.
So the computer....There has been an endless saga. In April my computer's battery died and the CD rom drive would randomly stick and not read a disc.....Sent it to Best Buy where I have a warranty. It was to be taken care for for free...Get the computer back three weeks later....A note attached saying the battery didn't work...DUH. So I called and they sent a battery. Well all was good (even though the drive still wasn't 100%). Then Oct 9th (I remember the date) the computer crashed and I needed a whole new hard drive. So Best Buy fixed it and I got the computer back a couple of days before Thanksgiving...Well I sent it right back because when I tried to load my wireless internet the PC card slot wouldn't work. So on December 23 I get my computer back, I wouldn't sign the paper until the guy showed me the PC slot worked. Get home go to load my wireless, NOTHING HAPPENED. So I figured let me uninstall everything and reinstall, perhaps that would work. Oh yeah, disc drive got stuck and wouldn't read the disc. So on xmas eve I was speaking to a manager at Best Buy (8am mind you with no shower and no make up....For those who know me...I always leave the house clean and with full makeup on..This should tell you how LIVID I was). So I explained my problem to the manager (calmly according to my mother) and wouldn't ya know it he looked on his little computer deemed my computer a lemon and I am getting a new computer for free! Merry Christmas to me!
Okay, tired yet!
HAHAHA
Leave me some good comments about y'alls Christmas~

Grey Street
Okay, I don't want to bring anyone down for the holiday but I have some very bad news. I am not even sure if I want to share it. It may shock and amaze people and well, frankly, it bums me out. So, okay....(deep breath).....I discovered tonight....I have a gray hair...................OH GOD....it's horrible....I am too young.....what will I do......damn Gough genes. My mother had the nerve to laugh for heaven's sake. Laugh at my plight....laugh at my discovery that I am old....OLD....26 people....thats almost 30. Oh the horrors. I need to make an emergency call to Bethany....it needs to be remedied and a good dose of hair dye with highlights is what the doctor prescribed.
Thanks for all those who listened, who let me cry on their shoulder, I didn't mean to bring anyone down....please try and enjoy your holiday....I will struggle through.

Wow, so much to say...
Hmm, in no particular (chronological) order. I saw Maggie last weekend. Cindy and I drove to Delaware for her dinner birthday. We went to a Moraccan restaurant where they served seven courses. It was absolutely fantastic. Food was great and so was the company. There were around 16 people and everyone seemed to get along. I actually saw an old acquaintance from college too (Lou). I was finished with the meal by the third course but toughed it out to the end.
So, Jule's boyfriend is out of town for a couple of weeks so I was recruited to help lay tile with her. Needless to say we THOUGHT it was going well but, alas, we did it wrong. Not wrong really, more incorrectly. The floor needed to be 65 degrees...umm how do you take the floor's temperature...to see the aftermath visit jule's site at www.notwhatiordered.blogspot.com. Plus you'll see a great pic of Oscar (oh the puppy!)
Thanksgiving was great, we celebrated it on Wednesday because Aly was supposed to work. It may be our last Thanksgiving in this house so it was really special.
Been out once this past month to adam's morgan....

Now its finals week so studying I will go. Hopefully we'll get enough snow that schools will be closed and i can get more done. Whoo hoo!
